Mohawk Walk
Mohawk2
The Mohawk Walk consists of five separate sections of tautly strung cable, with each successive section longer than the one prior.

The task is for the whole group to traverse the entire length of the series of cables(or as far as possible in a specified time) without falling or stepping off. If someone falls or steps off the cable, that person returns to the starting point or other specified point.

Group Size: 8 - 15 participants

Nitro Crossing
NitroCrossing
A spliced loop rope swing is suspended from a cable between a small platform and the starting point.

The basic problem is to obtain the rope using only the resources found within the group and then get the whole group across the area between the starting point and the platform, without touching the ground, and onto the platform.

There are different variations with this depending on the
group requirements.

Group size: 8-15 participants.

Possum Glider
PossumGlider A ropes course belay pulley is suspended from a horizontal cable about 14 metres above the ground. A haul belay system (group of participants pulling on the end of the belay rope) is used to slowly elevate the participant off the ground towards the pulley.

With right co-ordination, and teamwork from the group pulling, the participant enjoys an exciting swing.

Spider's Web
The Spider's Web consists of a prefabricated web strung between two posts 3-4 metres apart made up of 10-15 open web sections.

The task is to pass each member of the group through a separate web opening without letting any part of the body touch any part of the web. Once a member uses an opening, that section is closed to further passage.  If a participant touches the web during the process, the person being passed must return to the beginning side, and the section they went through remains closed.

Group Size 8 - 15  Time approx 40 minutes

Tension Traverse
TensionTraverse A single cable is strung tautly between a tree and a support post.
A long rope is also attached to a point at a height above the start of the foot cable, to provide a tensioned support to use while the
participant traverses the foot cable.

The aim is to traverse as far along the taut foot cable as possible.

Spotters are also encouraged to stand either side of the participant
for safety support.
